Join Bishop Lawrence at the Listen & Speak Conference November 2-3
Bishop Mark Lawrence“The reality that we are in a rapidly changing cultural context in which to do ministry is so universally recognized today that it hardly needs to be mentioned—were it not for the simple fact that so many of us—both ministers and congregations— continue to function as if nothing has changed. Last year’s “Listen & Speak” event raised intriguing questions for me, which I continue to reflect upon. This year’s event promises to be equally provocative. For surely one of the biggest contributors to the evolving environment for ministry is the empire of technology and social media and this is exactly the arena the always thought-provoking Andy Crouch will be addressing. I encourage you to join me at the Cathedral on November 2 & 3 for as many sessions of “Listen & Speak” as you can make. I’ve already put it on my calendar!” --Bishop Mark Lawrence
