Youth Ministry Intern, St Luke’s Church, Hilton Head Island, SC
St. Luke’s, Hilton Head is looking for a candidate who has a heart for Christ and a desire to make Christ known to high school and middle school students. St Luke’s has an active youth ministry program that includes separate youth nights for middle and high school students. The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience working or volunteering in youth ministry in college or post college, an ability to plan and lead a Bible Study and an ability to lead and utilize volunteers. This is a two year* paid internship and will involve youth ministry training through a practicum and optional seminary work. We will tailor this program according to your experience. The intern will be mentored and trained by assistant rector, who is in charge of youth ministry. We would like this position to be filled before September 2016. Worship leader/ organist Saint James, James Island

The Director of Communications position is open at St. Christopher Camp and Conference Center. We are seeking someone to promote St. Christopher with clarity and consistency in all materials and communications. We need someone with a degree in journalism, multimedia, visual communications, marketing or related fields, an imaginative creative problem solver, with strong initiative, attention to detail and excellent written, oral and electronic communication skills. A demonstrated proficiency is needed in website development (specifically using Wordpress, Mailchimp, and Formsite), Microsoft Office, iMovie, Google Calendar, Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Lightroom. The Director of Communications implements and directs all St. Christopher's communications and marketing needs and activities. This includes website maintenance and development; graphic design of all print and electronic publications including website, e-news, brochures and mailings; shoot photographs/video and write press releases and newsletter articles; and social media content creation. The Kitchen of St. Christopher Camp and Conference Center is looking for a Sous Chef to join their experienced team of food service professionals. They are looking for a teachable spirit more than kitchen experience. Their full time, year round food service ministry has unique needs, so they seek someone willing to grow with them ~ in preparation for increased leadership opportunities in the future. This salaried position will work with the Executive Chef on the afternoon/evening team. Hours for this team are approximately 12 noon - 8pm five days per week, including weekends, for a total of 40 hours per week. Schedules are made about a week in advance and are based on the needs of our guests. We are open year round, seven days a week. Weekend shifts are part of the schedule. Pay days are every two weeks. Salary and benefits are competitive for this starting position.
