Administrative Assistant, Christ Church, Mt. Pleasant

Administrative Assistant:  Full time position at Christ Church in Mt. Pleasant.  Duties include: answering phone, emails and other communication, administrative support to the clergy and Vestry, membership coordinator, volunteer coordinator, registrar for all Discipleship classes including providing assistance on Wednesday evenings.  The candidate will have at least 3 years admin assistance experience and have excellent command of Microsoft Office as well as written and verbal communication skills.  Publisher experience is a plus.  Superior relational skills, ability to handle multiple tasks and excellent organizational skills are required.  Send your resume to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Associate Rector, Trinity Church, Myrtle Beach

Trinity is an exciting, dynamic, gospel centered church in the Diocese of South Carolina, one of the oldest and most established dioceses in North American Anglicanism.  Trinity earnestly desires to grow into becoming a missional presence in our city through gospel transformation in the lives of our own members.  We have a desire to see our city renewed under the Gospel.  To that end, we are seeking an associate who will work in all levels of the church’s life to help equip us for the work of the Gospel in Myrtle Beach. Specifically, we are looking for an associate who will labor to create a culture of disciple-making, help lead us into becoming a church of small groups, and begin preparing us to reach out to our local university. 

-    A growing and vital walk with Christ.
-    Exhibits leadership in the home and in the church.
-    Has displayed competency in evangelism and discipleship. 
-    Exhibits strong character worthy of the Gospel of Christ.
-    Strong understanding of the gospel and its importance in pastoral ministry and leadership. 
-    Anglican orders, or sufficient level of completion of a discernment process for Anglican orders. 
-    Basic agreement with the theology of the 39 Articles and historic prayer books.

-    Develop and implement a strategy for integrating newcomers in the life of the parish.
-    Oversee discipleship staff (i.e. family pastor, part time youth worker, etc).
-    Preach regularly at all services.
-    Full participation in the life of the church. 
-    Participate in the general pastoral care of the congregation at the direction of the Pastor for Member Care.
-    Participate in the sacramental and liturgical life of the parish, celebrating public services of worship on Sunday mornings and at other times at the discretion of the rector.

-    Biennial trip to Gospel Coalition National Conference
-    Sonship Mentorship through World Harvest Missions.  The Sonship Mentorship is designed to help pastors apply the life changing truths of the Gospel to their own hearts and lives in deep ways through the ministry of a trained mentor.  This mentorship is open to both the associate and his spouse. 
-    Low-rent housing just a block from the beach.
-    Significant freedom within the areas of responsibility to pursue God’s calling in Myrtle Beach.

Part-time Facilities Manager, Christ Church, Mt. Pleasant

Facilities Manager:  Part time position available at Christ Church in Mt. Pleasant.  Duties include: Scheduling and preparation of facilities for all events; oversee all work on campus; negotiate contracts with all vendors.  Daily inspection of facilities.  Work on cemetery maintenance and record keeping.  Must be able to lift 30 pounds and move it unaided 25 feet and be able to climb and work from ladder. Part-time Financial and Operations Administrator, Cathedral Church of St. Luke and St. Paul, Charleston

As the Cathedral seeks to fulfill their vision of Being the Heart of God for the Heart of Charleston, they are in search of a part-time Financial and Operations Administrator to bring support and organization to our stewardship of the resources the Lord has provided us.  Their desire is to welcome someone into this position that desires to love and serve the Lord Jesus Christ and his church with joy and energy, and to humbly collaborate with our staff and parishioners in ministry.

Principal requirements for this position are:
•    Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
•    Proficiency with QuickBooks Online
•    Management of the annual budget creation process in conjunction with the Dean, treasurer, and Cathedral Finance Committee
•    Ongoing oversight of the budget and reporting to staff
•    Liaison with Diocesan payroll staff
•    Oversight of parish database and giving records
•    Management of facilities and organizational operations
