Full Time Positions

 

Custodian (Guest Services Housekeeper) St. Christopher Camp and Conference Center

St. Christopher Camp and Conference Center needs help in their Guest Services Department. They are looking for a high-energy individual to vacuum and clean assembly spaces and bathrooms, set up furniture for conferences, attend to A/V needs of guests, carry laundry bags, and whatever else is needed to provide quality service. Applicant needs to be strong, in excellent physical condition, care about cleanliness and presentation, and have a knack for electronics. Equally important is a demonstrated heart for teamwork, in particular with the Housekeeping and Facilities Departments. The position is full time (40 hrs/wk); hourly. Typical hours are from 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.. Exceptions include 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. most Fridays and every other Sunday 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Work schedules are made about two weeks in advance and are based on the needs of our guests. Kitchen Staff, St. Christopher Camp and Conference Center

St. Christopher is seeking two full-time employees for their Food Services Department. They are looking for high-energy individuals to clean and prepare dining rooms; wash dishes, pots and pans; prepare beverages, salad bars; prep food; stock shelves; and whatever else is needed to provide quality service to their guests. Applicant needs to have a strong back, healthy feet and upper body strength. Equally important is a demonstrated heart for teamwork. The position they need filled is in their afternoon team. Hours for the afternoon team are approx. 12 noon – 8 p.m. five days per week, including weekends, for a total of 40 hours per week. The afternoon team is responsible for helping clean up after lunch and preparing and cleaning up after dinner. Work schedules are made about a week in advance and are based on the needs of guests. Youth Minister, Holy Comforter, Sumter


The Church of the Holy Comforter, Sumter is seeking a full-time Youth Minister. Under the direction of the Rector (Senior Pastor), the Youth Minister is responsible for continuing and evolving the youth ministry program at Church of the Holy Comforter. The Youth Minister will accomplish this through direct contact within the community of existing teens and expand the group through community outreach. An initial emphasis will be placed on building relationships within the parish and then expanding on that foundation and reaching beyond our members.
