August 6, 2010: Budget worksheets and other information mailed to churches, department heads, and staff, to prepare for 2011 budget.

October 1, 2010: All department budget requests due.

December 2, 2010: Congregational Development Committee meets to review budget and Builders for Christ needs.  Makes preliminary recommendations for budget; 10:30 a.m., Cathedral Parish Hall

November 15, 2010: Diocesan Finance Committee meets to review first draft of 2011 Budget; 10:30 a.m., Wachovia Securities Boardroom

December 14, 2010: Diocesan Council meets to review first draft of 2011 budget.

December 15, 2010: Deadline for churches to send in the 2011 “Declaration of Intent”

December 20, 2010: Second Draft of 2011 budget is disseminated.

January 13, 2011: Congregational Development Committee meets to review second draft of 2011 budget, and makes final recommendations; 10:30 a.m., Cathedral Parish Hall

January 20, 2011: Diocesan Finance Department meets to finalize second draft of budget for Diocesan Council; 10:30 a.m., Wachovia Securities Boardroom

February 3, 2011: Diocesan Council meets to approve final draft of budget to go to deaneries. 10:30 a.m., Cathedral Parish Hall   

February 7, 2011: Second draft of budget mailed to churches for deanery meetings.

February 8-16, 2011: Deanery Budget meetings held to discuss 2011 budget. Final draft of budget is posted and mailed to delegates, clergy, churches, and Diocesan Council.

February 17-18, 2011: Diocesan Convention approves final 2011 budget.
