 Please keep the family of the Rev. Edward (Ed) J. Hancock, who was serving as a Deacon at St. Thomas in North Charleston, in your prayers. He died suddenly of a heart attack on Wednesday, January 11, 2012. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 14 at 2 p.m. at St. Thomas. The family will receive guests prior to the funeral, for a visitation, at 1 p.m., in Good Shepherd Hall at the church.
Prior to their time at St. Thomas, Deacon Ed and his wife Fran were active in churches at All Saints, Florence, St. Matthias, Summerton (Senior and Junior Warden), Church of the Epiphany, Eutawville, and Trinity Church in Pinopolis.
