Diocese of South Carolina Flood Relief

This fund is for those wishing to support recovery in those diocesan congregations needing assistance.

Donate to Diocesan Flood Relief. (Contribute as "guest" and type "disaster assistance' in the gift purpose line.)

Diocese of South Carolina Legal Defense Fund

(Includes 1785 Society)

The Diocese of South Carolina is engaged in litigation with The Episcopal Church and its local diocese, defending the properties and identities handed down to us from the faithful generations that established them. As stewards of these gifts from God, we believe it is incumbent upon us to assure they continue to be used for Gospel ministry for generations to come. If you would like to assist us in the defense of our right to freely worship in the faith of our Anglican ancestors, all such contributions will be gratefully accepted. May God bless you for your generosity.

Donate to Legal Defense Fund. (If donating to the 1785 Fund, state that in Memo line)

Designated Contributions to the Diocese of South Carolina

Building for Christ—From Generation to Generation.

Building for Christ from Generation to Generation is making it possible to fulfill our mission as a Diocese in very meaningful ways. This past year Building for Christ funds were earmarked to pay a portion of the down payment for the Diocese’s purchase of 10 acres of undeveloped land in Loris, SC. The land is perfectly located for planting a church and was offered to the Diocese by friends at a reduced price provided that action was taken promptly. Without your participation in Building for Christ we would not have been able to take advantage of this God-given opportunity to acquire prime property to use for Kingdom purposes.

St. Christopher Camp and Conference Center

St. Christopher is a conference center owned by the Episcopal Diocese of South Carolina on the Atlantic Coast just south of Charleston. Their staff, facilities and 300 acres of beach, marsh and maritime forest make it an outstanding destination. We have completed our 70th year of Summer Camp this year, but we have much more to offer. It's where the glory of God meets the glory of His creation to revive the glory of his people.

Diocesan Hispanic Ministry

Over the last year, La Iglesia de San Juan (the Hispanic ministry of the Diocese of South Carolina) has been in transition. This summer the church changed direction in its witness to the Hispanic people of Sea Islands. Instead of the traditional “open our doors and they will come” model, worship and pastoral care are now taken to the people where they live. Each Sunday evening the “Church on the Move” can be found at one of the many work camps on Johns Island. The ministry is a mission church of the Diocese of South Carolina under Bishop Lawrence. The ministry is not self-supporting and it does pay two part-time pastors.
