To:  All Congregations

Attached is your 2013 Declaration of Intent Form for your pledge to the Mission and Ministry of the Diocese.  Please note that diocesan canon requires its return by December 15th.  This should be possible, as vestries may adopt budgets and need not wait until January congregational meetings to make them official.  And you can adopt this portion of your budget by December 15th even if the rest of the budgeting cannot be completed.

Please return this form even if your congregation is not making a pledge, because we need this information for statistical and planning purposes.

“NDBI” means net disposable budget income, which consists of all income of any sort, excluding diocesan aid, which is available for your normal budgeted operating expenses.  It does not include restricted income which is not used for normal operations.

The 10-10-10 solution remains in effect in this diocese.  That is, the standard of individual giving to the church is 10%, giving from the church to the diocese is 10%, and from the diocese to ministry beyond ourselves is 10%.
