Grace Episcopal Church’s 2011 Annual Tea Room

Grace Episcopal Church located downtown in the city of Charleston, SC announces its annual Tea Room and Church Mouse Boutique May 30-June 10.  (Note the Tea Room is not open on Sundays) This event takes place during the Spoleto Festival.

The Tea Room and Church Mouse Boutique are an annual event.  All profits go towards various charitable organizations.  Last year’s tea room raised $35,000—distributed to local charities including Crisis Ministries, the Florence Crittenton Home, and the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Trident Area, just to name a few.

 Lunch is served in the Tea Room, Monday through Saturday from 11:30am-2:00pm. Sample items on the menu include okra soup, ham biscuits, chicken salad sandwiches and fresh homemade desserts.  A piano player entertains diners; takeout and delivery are also available.

The Church Mouse Boutique is open daily during Tea Room from 10:30-3:00 and offers a fabulous selection of gently used books, jewelry, china, crystal, silver, lamps and much more.  All proceeds from the Church Mouse Boutique and the Tea Room benefit local charities.  An art show and sale is held in Hannahan Hall during Tea Room
