The Area Bishop for the Horn of Africa (a part of the Diocese of Egypt with North Africa and the Horn of Africa) invites applications for the position of Dean of St Frumentius' Anglican Theological College, Gambella Ethiopia. The applicant must possess a Masters degree in theology. It would be helpful if the candidate was an ordained Anglican with a love for and knowledge of Africa. Gambella is hot, remote, underdeveloped and somewhat unstable. Salary will have to be raised by the candidate, but a house is provided. Electricity, a regular supply of running water and reliable internet connection cannot be guaranteed. Laity Part-Time Positions

Part-time Music and Worship Leader, St. Timothy’s, Cane Bay
St. Timothy’s mission church is seeking a part-time music and worship leader for weekly practices and Saturday Evening worship. They are praying for someone who would consider making St. Timothy’s their home and has experience leading worship as well as other musicians.  They are seeking a dynamic and energetic person, who is led by the Holy Spirit and can assist with the planning of weekly services. This person reports to the Vicar or Pastor of the church and the hours estimated weekly to perform this ministry should not exceed 10. Worship services are currently being held at 5 pm on Saturday nights and St. Timothy’s has members in its parish that are eager to join in the effort of leading the church in worship. Duties and skills necessary include but are not limited to; deep commitment to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, the ability to organize and prepare worship songs, works and collaborates well with all ages, seeks to grow the ministry by inviting others to the worship team. Organist/Choir Director, Trinity Episcopal Church, Moncks Corner/Pinopolis

Become a vital part of a church with a strong musical tradition and a welcoming congregation.  Provide traditional music for a 10:00 Sunday service with about 80-90 parishioners attending. Trinity offers a blended service so coordinating with the Praise Band’s director will be part of the job.  Also provide music for one evening service on Christmas Eve and two services during Holy Week.  An hour weeknight choir practice with 10-12 choir members is required as well as availability for weddings and funerals.  On the average, working five to six hours per week should be expected.  Our instruments include an Allen Renaissance organ and a Yamaha GC2 piano (only 2 years old).
