Naturalist, Barrier Island Environmental Education Program, St. Christopher Camp and Conference Center
St. Christopher Camp and Conference Center seeks conservative evangelical Christian Naturalists each school year to work with the Barrier Island Environmental Education Program. St. Christopher is run by the Diocese of South Carolina and is located 25 miles south of Charleston on Seabrook Island. The campus includes nearly one mile of beach, 100 acres of salt marsh, 200 acres of undisturbed maritime forest, two freshwater ponds, and a freshwater swamp. The year will provide an opportunity to not only gain valuable environmental education experience, but also learn how to be a minister through all walks of life. Position Duration: August 16, 2015 – May 14, 2016. Responsibilities: Instruction in day and evening programs on beach, forest and wetland ecology, astronomy, weather, tracking, and leading team-building challenge courses. Serve on either Housekeeping or Facilities staff each week to help maintain the center. Assist in animal care, and other programs as assigned. Time off is provided each week. Additionally, there may be opportunities for weekend work with other programs and guests. Weekly attendance to the staff bible study, prayer and worship meetings is required. Requirements: You must have graduated college with a bachelors degree or higher; the subject of the degree is not an issue. Sous Chef, St. Christopher Camp and Conference Center, Seabrook Island
The Kitchen of St. Christopher Camp and Conference Center is looking for a Sous Chef to join their experienced team of food service professionals. They are looking for a teachable spirit more than kitchen experience. Their full time, year round food service ministry has unique needs, so they seek someone willing to grow with them ~ in preparation for increased leadership opportunities in the future. They welcome applications from recent, and enthusiastic, culinary school graduates.
This salaried position will work with the Executive Chef on the afternoon/evening team. Hours for this team are approximately 12 noon - 8pm five days per week, including weekends, for a total of 40 hours per week. Schedules are made about a week in advance and are based on the needs of our guests. We are open year round, seven days a week. Weekend shifts are part of the schedule. Pay days are every two weeks. Salary and benefits are competitive for this starting position.

Children's Ministry Director, St. Luke's, Hilton Head
Children’s Ministry Director - Seeking Part Time Children’s Ministry Director to manage the programs of the St. Luke’s Church Children and Family Ministry (CFM). CFM Director will plan and coordinate all children’s programs for newborn thru 5th grade including Sunday School Classes and Nursery, Wednesday night children’s class, Vacation Bible School and CFM outreach events, and will maintain a CFM calendar. The CFM Director will also be responsible for the recruitment and training of volunteers to teach in these children’s areas. The CFM Director should model and encourage volunteers to display a warm, loving environment where Biblical truths are learned and where Christian relationships are formed. The ideal candidate will have an educational background or experience in children’s ministry, work well with volunteers, be well organized, have administrative gifts, have a passion for discipling children and a vision for children’s ministry.
