Take Me Out to the Ball Game! June 3
Diocesan Night at the Charleston Riverdogs
Join with others from all across the Diocese of South Carolina for a night of fun Friday, June 3 when the Charleston Riverdogs face Kannapolis. Bishop Lawrence will be throwing out the first pitch. It's red shirt day, but to show we're all together, we're encouraging our group to wear a navy blue shirt. The game starts at 7:05 p.m. and ends with a fireworks show. Bring friends and neighbors. This is a great opportunity to connect with others throughout the Diocese.
The Diocese has reserved seats together in Section 203. Unfortunately the seats in our reserved section have sold out. You can still join us! Simply order your tickets on Riverdogs site and selecti seats for the June 3 game either in or near section 203. There are still seats in that area.
Getting Your Tickets For those who ordered tickets in the reserved Diocesan section before we sold out, you can pick up your tickets on the day of the game by going to the Will-Call window and letting them know you are with the Diocese of South Carolina and giving them your name (or the name the tickets were reserved under).
Rain Date Right now the game is still on - but if it's rained out we will notify everyone who's ordered tickets via email. The tickets will be moved to another night.
Who's bringing the largest group? Right now it's Christ St. Paul's, Yonges Island with St. Timothy's Cane Bay coming in second. Your tickets will be available to pick up at the will-call window the evening of the game.

St. Christopher Hosting a Day of Healing Prayer June 25, 2016 The Prayer Center will offer a Day of Healing Prayer on June 25th 2016. The focus of the day will be "Healing and Forgiveness between the Generations." Chaplain Rob Kunes says, "So many of the people I talk to have difficult relationships with their adult children, and so many of my friends have strained relationships with their parents. This is an opportunity to lay these relationships before the Lord for healing and reconciliation.” The Day of Healing Prayer will begin at 9:00 a.m. and conclude after lunch. The price is $10 for lunch but the event is free. If you would like to come Friday night and spend the night, we have some rooms available at a discounted rate. Please contact Rhonda at 843.768.0429 ext 4 or [email protected] to register for the day or to discuss room availability and rates.
