biblical grandparentingView a complete schedule of Cavin Harper events in South Carolina.

Cavin Harper, founder and director Christian Grandparenting Network will lead a a three-hour mini-conference,  on “Biblical Grandparenting: Does our Legacy Matter?” Friday, March 11 beginning at 9 am.  at the Church of the Cross Bluffton, Cross Schools Campus, 495 Buckwalter Parkway, Bluffton, South Carolina.
Many grandparents today have little understanding of what a grandparent’s role should be. Does the Bible say anything about grandparenting? Few resources have been available to grandparents through the Church or elsewhere, though that is changing. ICavin Harpern fact, God is building a movement of intentional, biblical grandparents committed to leave a legacy that matters—so the next generations will know, love and serve Christ.

If you care about the hearts, minds and souls of your grandchildren, you are urged to attend this unique event. Note there is a $10 fee for this mini-conference.

An Evening of Prayer and Remembrance

prayer remembrance1Charleston Prayer Gathering at the Cathedral
Thursday, June 16 at 6:30pm

Our friends at 1Charleston have organized a city-wide evening of prayer, worship, and conversation on Thursday, June 16 at 6:30pm.We hope you will join us for this night as we seek our Heavenly Father’s face and ask the Spirit to give comfort and hope to those who grieve and to empower a supernatural movement of unity and reconciliation in our City. The gathering will begin in the Cathedral, and then afterwards we will move into the parish hall to have a family-style snack supper and opportunity for conversation together with our neighbors from all different places, ethnicities, and backgrounds. Parents: Looking for childcare? CRU has volunteered to assist with nursery care during this event!

Please be aware that we have very limited parking for this event. Consult the parking map to be aware of the other available parking lots near our building. Thank you!
