The Department of Finance is organized by and under the Diocesan Council, with both Council and associate members. The department is responsible for proposing in January to the Council a balanced annual budget; in turn the Council adopts a budget proposal to be approved by the Diocesan Convention.
The department meets additionally during the year for an exit interview with the annual auditor and for ongoing review of the income and disbursements of the diocese.
